APC Rejects Adeleke's Defense Over Criminal Allegations

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has rejected Governor Ademola Adeleke's defense regarding allegations that criminals are being sheltered in the Osun State Government House. The party's Director of Media and Publicity, Kola Olabisi, stated that Adeleke's denial does not adequately address the serious allegations and insisted that individuals involved should be arrested.

This response follows remarks made by the Inspector General of Police, Olatunji Disu, during his visit to Osun State, where he indicated that there were concerns about criminal activity within the Government House. APC claims that a viral video shows a suspect on the police watch list in the Government House, and they have accused Adeleke of associating with political thugs.

Jamiu Olawumi, the Director of Strategic Communication for the Imo State Campaign Council, dismissed APC's claims as baseless and an attempt to tarnish the governor's image. He emphasized that there is no criminal protection in the Government House and invited APC leaders to question the allegations.
