ADC Chieftain Accuses APC of Undermining Opposition

Kola Ologbondiyan, a chieftain of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), has publicly accused the All Progressives Congress (APC) of not wanting a viable opposition in Nigeria. In an interview on Arise Television's prime time on Wednesday, Ologbondiyan discussed the ongoing internal crises within the ADC, which have been exacerbated by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) derecognizing a faction led by him.

He cited a court order regarding the party's issues and expressed concerns over the APC's influence in these developments. Ologbondiyan claimed that the APC is sponsoring political crises to weaken opposition parties.

He also mentioned a protest held on Wednesday against INEC, asserting that President Bola Tinubu is encouraging divisions within the political landscape, which he believes will ultimately lead to the downfall of the APC.
