Danmaliki Leaves APC, Joins PRP, Endorses Shehu Buba

On Saturday, Hon. Aminu Mohammed Danmaliki, a former Commissioner and member of the House of Representatives, announced his defection from the All Progressives Congress (APC) to the People’s Redemption Party (PRP) during a gathering at Majidadi B Ward in Bauchi State.

Danmaliki stated that his decision was based on principles, conviction, and concern for the hardships faced by ordinary Nigerians. He expressed that government should empower and uplift the people, not make life harder.

Danmaliki praised the PRP's focus on social justice, public service, education, healthcare, rural development, and accountability. He has held various roles, including President of the Bauchi Chamber of Commerce, and pledged to use his experience to strengthen the PRP in Bauchi.

Additionally, he endorsed Senator Shehu Buba as the PRP’s governorship candidate for the 2027 election, highlighting Buba's vision and commitment to effective governance. Danmaliki called for collective efforts from various community sectors to foster development and replace divisive politics with constructive dialogue.
