ADC Candidate Balarabe Daga Defects to APC in Katsina

Balarabe Lawal Daga, the former African Democratic Congress (ADC) candidate for the Baure/Zango Federal Constituency, defected to the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Baure Local Government Area of Katsina State. This event occurred on Saturday and included other stakeholders from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP).

The defection ceremony was attended by Katsina State Governor Dikko Radda, who described the influx of new members as a significant boost to the APC's structure in the area. Radda urged party members to maintain unity and peaceful relations at the grassroots level, highlighting that the growing support for the APC reflects positively on the party's prospects.

He cautioned against turning the defection ceremony into a campaign event, reminding stakeholders that political campaigns would commence at the appropriate time. The governor also emphasized the importance of focusing on governance and grassroots engagement.
