APC Executives Defect to PRP in Bauchi State

Executives from the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Misau Local Government Area, Bauchi State, have officially defected to the People's Redemption Party (PRP). The decision was announced during a gathering coordinated by Hon.

Maiwada Bakoji and Hon. Shehu Dubagari, who described the move as a political awakening aimed at promoting justice and fair leadership in Bauchi State.

The defectors expressed their dissatisfaction with the APC's internal democracy, poor leadership, and neglect of grassroots members. They pledged to mobilize support for the PRP ahead of the 2027 general elections and expressed confidence in the party's vision for leadership.

PRP leaders assured the new members of equal opportunities and active participation within the party, reaffirming their commitment to justice, unity, and transparent, people-oriented leadership. The gathering emphasized the need for unity among members as they prepare for the upcoming elections.
