APC First-Term Governors Hold Meeting in Kebbi State

First-term governors of the All Progressives Congress (APC) convened for a closed-door meeting in Kebbi State, specifically at the Government House in Birnin Kebbi. The meeting, hosted by Governor Nasir El-Rufai, included discussions on critical national issues affecting the APC and governance.

Attendees included governors from Kaduna, Plateau, Ekiti, Delta, Zamfara, Kano, Jigawa, Ebonyi, Edo, Ondo, Kogi, Sokoto, and Benue states. The meeting was also attended by Minister of Budget and Economic Planning, Atiku Bagudu.

The governors aimed to focus on matters of national importance, strengthen intergovernmental collaboration, and advance the party's development agenda. They explored strategies to promote good governance and sustain economic growth in Nigeria, with a collective interest in the nation's unity.

The chairman of the APC Governor Forum was expected to brief journalists on the outcomes of the deliberations at the end of the meeting.
