APC Celebrates Yilwatda's Leadership, Eyes 2027 Victory

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has marked the first anniversary of Professor Nentawe Yilwatda as its National Chairman, commending his leadership for fostering internal unity, enhancing party structures, and preparing the party for the 2027 general elections. A statement from Yusuf Dingyadi, the Chairman’s Senior Special Assistant on Media, highlighted Yilwatda's efforts in rebuilding confidence through reconciliation and institutional reforms during a challenging period for the party.

The APC noted significant progress in internal democracy and member reconciliation, which has strengthened the party nationwide. Under Yilwatda's leadership, the National Secretariat has improved in efficiency, transparency, and accountability.

The party has also expanded its engagement with various demographics, including youths and women. The statement attributed the APC's growing popularity to the implementation of President Bola Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, expressing optimism for the 2027 elections based on the achievements made in the past year.
