APC Dismisses ADC's Interference Claims Amid Leadership Crisis

Felix Morka, the spokesperson for the All Progressives Congress (APC), addressed allegations of interference from the African Democratic Congress (ADC) during an interview on Channels Television's Sunday Politics. Morka challenged the ADC to provide evidence of any interference, questioning their fear despite their claims.

He characterized the ADC as a non-starter in the political landscape, suggesting that they are incapable of posing a challenge to the APC. Morka further criticized prominent figures associated with the ADC, including Atiku Abubakar, Rotimi Amaechi, and Rauf Aregbesola, stating that their collective influence is minimal.

He described the ADC's current leadership crisis, which involves rival factions contesting control, as self-inflicted and indicative of their inability to manage party affairs. This situation is compounded by the recent withdrawal of recognition of the ADC's leadership by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), as announced by its chairman, Moham Haruna, citing a court order to maintain the status quo pending a legal challenge to David Mark's leadership.
