APC Launches Campaign Council for Abuja Elections 2026

The All Progressives Congress (APC) inaugurated a 138-member campaign council at its headquarters in Abuja, with the objective of winning all elections in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) scheduled for February 21, 2026. The council was unveiled by APC National Chairman Nentaw Yilwatda, who tasked members to work diligently to ensure total victory for the party.

Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq, the head of the council, emphasized the team's experience and readiness for the electoral battle. Yilwatda announced the appointment of three governors—Hope Uzodimma, Mai Mala Buni, and Moham Umar Bago—as co-chairmen of the high-power campaign council.

The council aims to engage directly with the people and mobilize support across various communities, reflecting Abuja's diverse demographics. Notable members include governors from six geopolitical zones, ensuring effective outreach and grassroots engagement.

Abdulrazaq expressed gratitude to the party leadership for their confidence in the council, highlighting the importance of deepening democratic dividends for FCT residents.
