APC Loses Two Lawmakers to SDP in Nasarawa State

On a recent date, two members of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Hon. Moham Adamu Omadefu representing Keana Constituency and Jacob Ajegena Kudu representing Nasarawa Eggon East Constituency, announced their resignation from the All Progressives Congress (APC) and subsequent defection to the Social Democratic Party (SDP).

The announcement was made during a session in the House, where Speaker Danladi Jatau read their resignation letters. Both lawmakers cited ill-treatment during the recently concluded APC primary elections as their reason for leaving the party.

They expressed that they did not feel the APC platform would allow them to excel and wished the best for their new party. Prior to this, another member, Hon.

Moham Isimbab, representing Toto Gadabuk Constituency, also resigned from the APC to join the SDP.
