APC Members Protest Alleged Manipulation of Congress List

Members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kwara State have raised concerns over alleged plans to manipulate the congress list ahead of the upcoming elections. They claim that the leadership is attempting to replace names on the list, which they argue could destabilize the party's structure and deepen existing divisions.

The protests have gained traction, with members calling for national leadership intervention to ensure the authenticity of the congress list. Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq and prominent party members have reacted to the protests, with Princ Sundai Fagbemi describing the aggrieved members as being ignored.

He urged them to submit their grievances formally rather than taking matters into their own hands. The chairman has also advised APC members to refrain from individual actions and to abide by the law, emphasizing the importance of maintaining party unity as they approach the 2027 elections.
