APC Primaries Disrupted in Alimosho Ward C1 Over Disagreements

The APC primaries scheduled for Alimosho Ward C1 were disrupted on Saturday due to disagreements among party members over candidate selection. Tensions reportedly escalated in the afternoon when Mr.

Akintund Johnson, the chairman of Alimosho Local Government, arrived at the venue. Supporters began chanting the names of their preferred candidates, which led to confusion and ultimately disrupted the electoral process.

Former APC chairman of Alimosho, Mr. Tosin Fatoki, stated that the primaries would no longer be held in the ward due to divisions among party members.

Accusations arose against the council chairman for attempting to influence the outcome of the primaries and intimidating members regarding their candidate choices. As a result, party members began to disperse, and it was confirmed that no primaries would take place that day.
