APC Primaries: Abdullahi and Gajere Win Kebbi Tickets

During the APC primaries held on a Monday at Haliru Abdu Stadium in Birnin Kebbi, Senator Yahaya Abdullahi emerged as the APC candidate for Kebbi North, while General Jafar Muhammad Gajere secured the party's ticket for Kebbi South. Gajere's candidacy was reported to be unopposed, following the resignation of Senator Garba Musa Maidoki, who previously represented Kebbi South.

Governor Nasir Idris attended the primaries and emphasized the importance of unity and discipline within the party. He expressed confidence in the APC's ability to achieve victory in the upcoming general elections.

Senator Yahaya Abdullahi expressed gratitude to Governor Idris and party stakeholders for their support, while both candidates urged APC members to remain united and mobilize support for the party ahead of the 2027 general elections.
