APC Mobilizes 4.4 Million Agents for Tinubu's 2027 Bid

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has announced the recruitment of 4.4 million grassroots agents across Nigeria to support President Bola Tinubu's re-election campaign for the 2027 general elections. This initiative was disclosed by Hope Uzodimma, the Director General of the Renew Hope Ambassador and Chairman of the Progress Governor Forum, during a two-day national retreat organized in Abuja.

The mobilization strategy is built around Nigeria's 176,846 polling units, with 25 canvassers assigned to each unit, creating a nationwide network of 4,421,150 volunteers. Uzodimma expressed confidence that Tinubu's administration would secure a second term, citing economic reforms as a key factor in gaining public support.

The mobilization plan is designed to strengthen the party's grassroots structure rather than relying on last-minute political campaigns. The initiative includes the introduction of a digital communication platform to monitor public sentiment and tackle misinformation in real-time, ensuring effective citizen engagement ahead of the elections.
