APC Aspirant Calls for Review of Primary Election Results

Mahasin Usman Attah, an aspirant for the All Progressives Congress (APC) House of Representatives ticket, has urged the party leadership to review the conduct and outcomes of the recently concluded primary election for the Awe/Doma/Keana constituency. Speaking to journalists in Lafia, Attah expressed concerns regarding issues surrounding the electoral exercise, emphasizing the importance of addressing complaints raised by party members and stakeholders to preserve the integrity of the APC's internal democratic processes.

She reaffirmed her loyalty to the party and stressed the need for a thorough assessment of the primary election to ensure transparency and credibility. Attah called on the APC's primary election committee and national leaders to carefully evaluate grievances presented by stakeholders, highlighting that maintaining trust among party members requires adherence to democratic principles.

She encouraged aggrieved members to seek redress through established internal mechanisms rather than actions that could undermine party unity, expressing confidence that the APC leadership would address the issues raised fairly and transparently to strengthen the party ahead of the 2027 general elections.
