APC Screens 98 Aspirants for Rivers Assembly Elections

The All Progressives Congress (APC) conducted a screening for 98 aspirants aiming for positions in the Rivers State House of Assembly. The screening took place in Port Harcourt, with the committee chaired by Ajibola Muraina, who assured a transparent process.

The aspirants expressed their support for the state governor, Siminalayi Fubara. Concurrently, a group is advocating for the removal of Kingsley Chinda, a member of the National Assembly representing the Obio-Akpor Federal Constituency, alleging misconduct during his tenure.

The group claims that Chinda's actions have not aligned with the party's interests. The APC has noted that all 98 aspirants purchased forms to contest in the upcoming elections, with expectations of a successful outcome in the primaries and a strong performance in the general elections.
