APC Senatorial Aspirant Zaura Escapes Mob Attack in Kano

Abdulsalam Abdulkarim Zaura, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and senatorial aspirant for Kano Central in the 2027 general elections, narrowly escaped a mob attack in Kano. The incident occurred while Zaura was en route to a formal declaration event, where he intended to announce his senatorial ambitions.

During the attack, suspected thugs descended upon his convoy, damaging several vehicles and causing panic in the area. Although Zaura escaped unhurt, the attack created fear among traders and residents.

Following the incident, the assailants reportedly moved to the GSM Market and Farm Centre, where they continued to rampage, further escalating tensions in this commercial hub. Zaura commiserated with the victims of the attack and praised the prompt response of security agencies in restoring order.

He expressed concern over the rising youth-related violence and called for urgent measures to address its root causes, urging security authorities to investigate the incident and bring the perpetrators to justice.
