APC South East Women Launch 2026 Mega Rally Initiative

The All Progressives Congress (APC) South East Women inaugurated the National Coordinating Committee for the 2026 South East Women Mega Rally and Empowerment Programme, which is scheduled for August 18, 2026, at Okpara Square, Enugu. This event aims to mobilize women across the five South East states—Abia, Anambra, Ebonyi, Enugu, and Imo—under the theme “One Region, One Vision, Victory for Tinubu 2027.” The First Lady of Nigeria, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, is expected to attend as the Special Guest of Honour.

Other notable attendees include the Minister of Women Affairs, APC National Women Leader Dr. Mary Alile Idele, South East governors, members of the National Assembly, and various stakeholders. The programme will feature empowerment initiatives, policy dialogue, healthcare outreach, and leadership development for women, including grants and skills acquisition kits.

The event also aims to support President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s re-election bid in 2027 and recognize the First Lady's commitment to women's economic empowerment.
