APC South-East Women Rally Set for August 18 in Enugu

The National Coordinating Committee for the APC South-East Women Mega Rally & Empowerment 2026 was inaugurated in Abuja on Tuesday, marking the start of mobilization for a significant event scheduled for August 18 at Okpara Square, Enugu State. The rally, themed “One Region, One Vision, Victory for Tinubu 2027,” is expected to feature First Lady Oluremi Tinubu and various dignitaries, including the Minister of Women Affairs, APC National Women Leader Dr. Mary Alile Idele, South-East governors and their wives, and members of the National Assembly.

Enugu State, led by Governor Dr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, will host the gathering, which aims to empower women and promote unity in the region. Dr. Oby Ajih, the APC South-East Zonal Women Leader and Convener, emphasized the importance of the rally in showcasing the political strength of South-East women and their commitment to the Renewed Hope Agenda and President Tinubu's re-election in 2027.
