APC Ward 7 Suspends Delta Commissioner for Misconduct

The APC Ward 7 in Ika North-East, Delta State, has suspended Delta Commissioner Ehiedu Charl Aniagwu due to alleged anti-party activities. The suspension, effective immediately, was communicated in a letter dated February 11, 2026, signed by Ward Chairman Chukwuka Ojinji and Vice Chairman Ambros Okafor.

The letter cites violations of Article 21 of the APC constitution, stating that Aniagwu engaged in illegal party activities contrary to the party's principles. Specific allegations include making decisions without the approval of the ward chairman and endorsing an illegitimate consensus executive list that undermines the party's leadership.

The suspension requires Aniagwu to cease all party activities immediately, refrain from using party symbols, logos, and platforms, and not participate in any party meetings or events. Attempts to reach Aniagwu for comment were unsuccessful as he did not respond to calls or text messages.
