APC Wins Kano House of Assembly By-election with Low Turnout

The All Progressives Congress (APC) secured two seats in the House of Assembly by-election held in Kano State, specifically in the Ungogo and Kano Municipal constituencies. The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) declared APC candidate Aliyu Nabil Daneji as the winner of the poll with 7,484 votes, defeating eight other contestants.

The results were announced by Prof. Ibrahim Tajo Siraj, who confirmed the outcome following the collation of results from various polling units.
