APGA Sets N75m Fee for Presidential Primary Elections

The All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) has officially released a timetable for its primary elections, which are part of the preparations for the 2027 general elections. According to a statement from the party's National Publicity Secretary, Dr.

Ejimofor Opara, the presidential nomination form is priced at N75 million. The timeline indicates that the purchase of expression of interest forms will occur from April 20 to May 8, 2026, with screening for national assembly aspirants set for May 11, followed by state house assembly candidates on May 12 and gubernatorial candidates on May 13.

The primary elections are scheduled for May 23, 2026, with an option for appeals on May 28, 2026. The fees for other positions include N25 million for presidential candidates, N6 million for Senate, N4 million for House of Representatives, N10 million for governorship, and N2 million for House of Assembly.

The party's convention will be held in Awka, located in the South East region.
