APGA Backs Stella Oduah Amid Political Allegations

Stakeholders from the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) have rallied behind former Minister of Aviation and ex-Senator Stella Oduah, affirming her eligibility for political office amidst recent allegations against her. The Anambra North Stakeholders Group issued a statement on Saturday in Awka, signed by leaders including Akosa Umeano and Afam Chukwura, insisting that Oduah has not been convicted of any crime by a court.

They referenced ongoing legal proceedings at the FCT High Court, presided over by Justice Hamza Muazu, which involve charges against Oduah and Gloria Odita related to two companies. The stakeholders highlighted that no court has pronounced Oduah guilty or established any criminal liability against her.

They dismissed the allegations as politically motivated attempts to undermine her influence ahead of the 2027 elections. The group called on APGA leadership, particularly Governor Chukwuma Soludo, to uphold fair and due process in handling political disputes within the party and reaffirmed their support for Oduah's political aspirations.
