Stella Oduah Wins APGA Anambra North Primary Election

Stella Oduah, the former aviation minister, won the APGA Anambra North senatorial primary election ahead of the 2027 elections. The results were verified and released by the party's national secretariat, indicating that Oduah secured a total of 2,541 votes.

The voting took place across 99 wards in the senatorial district, with Oduah's votes coming from various local government areas: Anambra East (1,639 votes), Anambra West (1,668 votes), Ayamelum (2,306 votes), Oyi (1,140 votes), Onitsha North (2,663 votes), Onitsha South (10,119 votes), and Ogbaru. Other aspirants in the race included Dr.

Alex Primus and Sir John. The election was conducted peacefully across the seven local government areas in the district.

While results were announced at the ward level, there were concerns raised about the outcomes, but no changes were made to the results submitted for collation.
