Apostle Babalola: ‘Pastor Fatoyinbo’s Statement Unfortunately And Regrettably Misunderstood’

Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo's recent statement about Apostle Babalola's spiritual anointing has sparked controversy after a sermon clip circulated online. Fatoyinbo claimed Babalola lacked wealth but had enduring grace, leading to a stern response from the CAC.

Fatoyinbo issued a public statement expressing regret for any hurt caused and clarified that he never intended to insult Babalola or tarnish his ministry. The COZA pastor described Babalola as a respected father of faith whose work influenced many churches.

In defense of Fatoyinbo, CCYF Convener James Paul Adama stated that the claim circulating on social media was a misunderstanding and that Fatoyinbo holds Babalola in high esteem. Fatoyinbo has since apologized to Babalola's family and the CAC leadership for any misunderstanding.
