CAC Accepts Fatoyinbo’s Apology Over Comments On Apostle Babalola

The Christian Association of Nigeria (CAC) has accepted an apology from Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo of COZA for his controversial comments about Apostle Joseph Ayo Babalola. Fatoyinbo had questioned Babalola's material wealth legacy during a sermon, drawing criticism.

In response, CAC's Director of Publicity, Pastor Aderinsoye Alawode, stated that Fatoyinbo's views were biblically flawed and that Babalola's family maintained a strong spiritual legacy. Babalola's daughter, Deaconess Eunice Ogini, also dismissed Fatoyinbo's claims, emphasizing her father's spiritual values.

Fatoyinbo issued an apology, clarifying that he did not mean any disrespect to Babalola's family. Alawode confirmed that the apology was received in good faith and clarified CAC's stance on the matter, correcting any misconceptions and denying any malice towards Fatoyinbo.
