Aradel Holdings Delays FY 2025 Financial Statements to June 2026
Aradel Holdings Plc has notified the Nigerian Exchange Limited that it failed to meet its 29 May 2026 deadline for releasing its FY 2025 Audited Financial Statements and Q1 2026 Unaudited Interim Financial Statements. The company attributes the delay to complexities in consolidating its recently acquired additional 40% equity interest in ND Western Limited into its group reporting framework.
Aradel Holdings Plc filed a press release on 30 May 2026 informing the NGX, shareholders and the investing public that it did not meet the 29 May 2026 deadline it had previously communicated in a market notice dated 2 March 2026. That earlier notice had already disclosed a delay related to the acquisition of an additional 40% equity interest in ND Western Limited.
The company states that unforeseen complexities in the consolidation process — specifically the integration of the newly acquired ND Western interest into the group's reporting framework — have made it impossible to finalise the financial statements within the previously communicated timeline. Aradel says it is working with its external auditors to complete the process and has set a new deadline of 19 June 2026 for the release of both the FY 2025 Audited Financial Statements and the Q1 2026 Unaudited Interim Financial Statements.
The company's Closed Period, which commenced on 1 January 2026, will remain in effect until 24 hours after both sets of financial statements have been published. Aradel's subsidiaries include Aradel Energy Limited, Aradel Gas Limited, Aradel Refineries Limited (95%), ND Western Limited (81.67%), and a 53.3% total equity holding in Renaissance Africa Energy Holdings.
