Ardova and APM Terminals Enhance Nigeria's Port Efficiency

Ardova PLC announced a partnership with APM Terminals on Tuesday to enhance maintenance efficiency and lubrication management across Nigeria's maritime infrastructure. This strategic collaboration aims to bolster the reliability of the Apapa Terminal, the largest container terminal in West Africa, which is vital for Nigeria's economy.

The partnership will deploy a modern Puls Central Lubrication Dispensing System developed in collaboration with Shell, replacing traditional manual handling with a closed-loop network system that allows real-time monitoring of lubrication consumption. This initiative is expected to improve operational efficiency, reduce product loss, and enhance workshop safety.

Key representatives from Shell, including Ayyan Bari and Elizabeth Galon, along with Ardova PLC's leadership, including Managing Director Moshood Olajide, participated in the announcement. The integration of this technology is part of a broader industry trend towards smart port operations, aiming to mitigate costs associated with equipment downtime and manual errors.
