Nigerian Army Promotes Five Officers to Lieutenant Colonel

The Nigerian Army promoted five senior officers to the rank of lieutenant colonel following the approval of the Nigerian Army Council. The investiture ceremony took place at the Nigerian Army Education Corps headquarters in Yaba, Lagos.

Captain Abdullahi Osabo, the Assistant Director of Army Public Relations, reported that the ceremony was presided over by Brigadier General Yushau Ahm, who congratulated the officers and described their promotions as a reflection of their service records and dedication to the Nigerian Army. He urged the newly promoted officers to remain disciplined and focused, stressing the importance of continuous self-development within the military education system.

Lieutenant Colonel Samuel Samson, speaking on behalf of the promoted officers, expressed gratitude to the army leadership for their confidence and trust, pledging to uphold the highest professional standards and contribute meaningfully to the growth of the army. The ceremony was attended by senior officers, colleagues, family members, and well-wishers.
