Nigerian Army Offers Free Medical Care in Osun

The Nigerian Army, under the leadership of Brig Gen Buhari Madaki, conducted a free medical outreach program for residents of Osun, specifically at the Army Depot in Osogbo. This initiative aimed to give back to the host community and improve civil-military relations.

Col Mathew Obi represented Madaki at the event, which also honored the sacrifices of Nigerian soldiers during past conflicts. Major Jonathan Edimek, the command officer at the depot, explained that the outreach provided various medical services, including consultations, eye and dental care, and general medical examinations.

Cases requiring additional attention were referred to hospitals around the federal medical center. The program was well-received, with Oba Abdur Raahe Olabomi of Iragbiji expressing appreciation for the Nigerian Army's efforts to support the community through these health services.
