Arsenal Pursues Vinicius Junior Amid Real Madrid Moves

Arsenal is reportedly interested in signing Real Madrid winger Vinicius Junior, who is in the final year of his contract with the Spanish club. Sky Sports News indicated that there has been no direct contact between Arsenal and Real Madrid regarding Vinicius, but the interest from Arsenal is genuine.

Vinicius, 26, is one of several forwards Arsenal is considering, alongside Julian Alvarez, Yan Diomande, and Bradley Barcola. Real Madrid is also pushing to sign RB Leipzig forward Yan Diomande, having had an £85.4 million bid rejected.

If Real Madrid secures Diomande, it could open the door for Vinicius to move to Arsenal. Vinicius was a runner-up in the 2024 Ballon d'Or voting and has been named one of Real Madrid's captains for the new season.

His relationship with new manager Jose Mourinho has reportedly improved following a previous incident.
