Aspirant Critiques APC Primaries, Refuses to Step Down

An aspirant from Daura has publicly criticized the conduct of the All Progressives Congress (APC) primaries, claiming they were not executed in accordance with party directives and lacked genuine participation from the electorate. The aspirant, who refused to step down for Buhari’s son, expressed dissatisfaction with the manner in which the direct primaries were conducted, alleging that many participants did not possess APC membership cards.

He described the counting process as dubious and insisted that the primaries disrespected the party and its members. The aspirant emphasized the need for justice and fairness in political movements, stating that when a consensus candidate was adopted, it was clear that the people did not want to proceed with the primaries.

He has filed a report regarding the results of the primaries in Daura, Sandamu, and Mai Adua.
