Asuquo Wins Men's 400m at MTN Champs Finale

The MTN Champs finale took place at Lekan Salami Stadium, delivering thrilling performances across various track and field events. In the senior men's 400m, Ezekiel Asuquo of MTN emerged victorious with a time of 46.60 seconds, finishing ahead of Jule Waiga from Benin Republic, who clocked 47.23 seconds, and Wisdom Alexander, who secured third place with a time of 47.51 seconds.

Miracl Uwem Donald also performed well in the women's event, achieving a personal best of 54.07 seconds to win gold, followed by Joi Ayomid and Adepoju Adedoyin with times of 54.61 and 54.84 seconds, respectively. In the junior men's 400m, David Dominion Udoh retained his title with a lifetime best of 46.62 seconds, narrowly beating Ghana's Kazali Iddrisu, who finished in 46.68 seconds.

The junior women's 400m saw Treasur Okerek take gold with a time of 53.30 seconds. The event also featured impressive performances in the 200m heats and field events.
