Ezechukwu and Edet Shine at MTN Champs with Sprint Doubles

At the MTN Champs, Nigerian sprinter Miracle Ezechukwu completed a sprint double by winning both the junior men's 100m and 200m events. Ezechukwu clocked a personal best of 11.26 seconds in the 100m and 22.91 seconds in the 200m, with teammate Rosemari Nwankwo finishing second in the 200m at a lifetime best of 23.17 seconds.

Luci Nwankwo from Team MTN finished third in the 100m with a time of 23.76 seconds, marking her first time dipping below 24 seconds in her career. Favour Edet also achieved a sprint double, winning the youth boys' 200m title with a personal best of 22.32 seconds.

In the junior men's 200m, Team MTN's Michael Anich secured victory with a personal best of 21.84 seconds. Toheebat Jimoh won the women's 200m with a personal best of 24.35 seconds, narrowly edging out teammate Miracle Uwem Donald.

The men's 200m final saw an upset victory by Dai Enoch Dabo, who finished first with a time of 21.69 seconds.
