Atiku Abubakar Promises Active Leadership Amid Tinubu's Absence

The ADC Presidential Campaign Council (PCC) stated that Atiku Abubakar would not be an "absentee President," contrasting him with the current absence of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, who is on vacation. Kola Ologbondiyan, the Director of Media and Publicity for the PCC, made this assertion on a Monday in Abuja while meeting with the leadership of the Atiku Unity Movement (AUM), led by Hon. Francis Eburuwe.

Ologbondiyan emphasized Atiku's understanding of Nigeria's economic and social challenges and his proposed policy interventions. He recalled Atiku's advocacy during the 2023 presidential campaign for a phased withdrawal of fuel subsidy to avoid excessive pressure on citizens.

Ologbondiyan stressed the need for a president who is accessible and responsive, capable of making timely decisions. He reiterated Atiku's commitment to addressing economic difficulties and improving citizens' welfare.

Hon. Francis Eburuwe expressed the AUM's dedication to mobilizing support for Atiku's candidacy.
