Nataro Warns Northern Politicians Against Attacking Tinubu

Mallam Salihu Isa Nataro, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kebbi State, cautioned northern politicians against actions that could jeopardize President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's prospects for a second term. Nataro noted that attacks on Tinubu's political interests could negatively impact the northern region, particularly in light of the president's reforms aimed at improving food prices and supporting local farmers.

He highlighted the significance of Tinubu's removal of oil subsidies and the potential for agricultural investment in northern states like Kebbi, Sokoto, and Zamfara. Nataro also praised Tinubu's recent visit from the Russian envoy, Ambassador Bianca Odumegwu Ojukwu, indicating a strengthening of Nigeria's ties with Russia.

He criticized opposition to Tinubu's administration, asserting that it undermines the nation's progress and warned that failure to support Tinubu could lead to adverse consequences for the northern region.
