AVEVA and IMD Unveil Industrial Intelligence Report

AVEVA, a global leader in industrial software, and IMD, a leading business school, launched the Industrial Intelligence Report on digital ecosystems at an event in Milan, Italy. The report is based on 275 interviews with leaders from 12 different sectors worldwide and includes quantitative analysis and detailed insights from global experts.

It reveals that 74% of leaders view digital ecosystems as a top strategic priority, while 27% share data extensively with ecosystem partners. The report emphasizes the challenges organizations face in integrating complex legacy systems and the need for strong governance.

Caspar Herzberg, CEO of AVEVA, explained that the collaboration with IMD aims not only to understand the motivations behind moving to digital ecosystems but also to define a framework for competitive leadership practices. This framework will enable companies to transcend silos and build adaptive ecosystems driven by operational models.
