Axxela Achieves 10 Million LTI-Free Manhours Milestone

Axxela has marked a significant achievement by reaching 10 million lost time injury (LTI) free manhours across its operations as of April 2026. This milestone indicates that the company has completed operational activities without a single lost time injury, showcasing its robust systems and a culture focused on environmental health and safety (EHS).

Tuoyo Ejueyitchi, Director of Corporate Operations, emphasized that this achievement is not merely a number but a reflection of Axxela's belief that everyone deserves to return home safely every day. The milestone underscores the discipline, vigilance, and shared responsibility that define the company's operations as it continues to expand its infrastructure across Africa.

John Okoro, Head of Environment, Health, Safety, and Sustainability (EHSS), stated that the company adheres to environmental and occupational health safety objectives anchored in ISO management systems, which facilitate proactive hazard identification and incident prevention.
