Former Aide Urges End to Cocoa Crisis in Cross River State

Dr. Oscar Ofuka, a former special adviser to Governor Ben Ayade, urged for resolution of the cocoa sector crisis in Cross River State following a court judgment.

Speaking at a Presbyterian Church event in Bendegh Ekiem, Etung LGA, Ofuka thanked God for his support during legal and political battles. He emphasized reconciliation and unity, urging an end to conflicts and embracing peace.

Ofuka also expressed concerns about rising insecurity in the area and called for collective vigilance and prayer to enhance security. He dismissed rumors of traveling abroad and reaffirmed his commitment to the community and church.
