Arsenal, PSG, Bayern Lead 2026 Ballon d’Or Nominees

Arsenal, Bayern Munich, Bodo/Glimt, Flamengo, and Paris Saint-Germain have been nominated for the 2026 Ballon d’Or Men’s Club of the Year award, as announced on September 8, 2026. Arsenal's nomination follows their successful Premier League campaign, where they were crowned champions but lost the Champions League final to Paris Saint-Germain on penalties.

Paris Saint-Germain secured their nomination by defending both their Champions League title and Ligue 1 crown. Bayern Munich was recognized for their exceptional domestic performance, losing only one league match throughout the season, despite being eliminated in the Champions League semi-finals by PSG.

Bodo/Glimt, a Norwegian club, made the shortlist after a surprising run in the Champions League, reaching the last 16 by defeating teams like Manchester City and Atletico Madrid. Flamengo completed the list after winning the 2025 Copa Libertadores and their 40th Campeonato Carioca title, marking their third triumph in the Copa Libertadores in six years.

The winner will be announced during the 2026 Ballon d’Or awards.
