Bandits Kill Businessman, Abduct Pregnant Wife in Kebbi

In Kebbi, a tragic incident occurred early on Friday when bandits killed a 35-year-old businessman named Sufiyanu and abducted his pregnant wife, Zainab. The Kebbi State Police Command, represented by spokesman Bashir Usman, confirmed the attack, which resulted in Sufiyanu's death.

Following the incident, police detectives visited the scene and commenced an investigation. They observed a police checkpoint near the location of the attack.

The victim, Sufiyanu, was rushed to Sir Yahaya Memorial Hospital, where medical personnel confirmed his death, and his body was deposited in the hospital's mortuary. The Commissioner of Police has directed the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID) to ensure a thorough investigation aimed at rescuing Zainab and bringing the perpetrators to justice.
