Bandits Kill Police Officer in Zamfara, Steal Service Weapon

In Zamfara State, bandits killed a police officer in Adabka Village, Bukkuyum Local Government Area, stealing his service weapon. The slain officer was deployed from Mopol 15 in Ilorin, Kwara State.

The attack, attributed to a bandit group linked to Dan Karama, Gwaska, and Dansadau network, showcased their ambush and rapid withdrawal tactics. The Nigerian Police Command in Zamfara is yet to comment on the incident.

The surge in bandit activities across Nigeria has led to numerous fatalities, including security personnel.
