Atiku's Aide Critiques FG's Security Response to Attacks

Paul Ib, an aide to former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, criticized the Federal Government's response to insecurity in Nigeria, particularly following a late-night attack in Kawel Village, Musher District, Bokko Local Government Area of Plateau State, where at least 18 residents were killed and several others injured. Ib expressed frustration over the government's lack of action, stating there had been no arrests or empathetic response to the incident.

He contrasted this with the government's decision to deploy security personnel to arrest Omoyele Sowore, who is currently imprisoned in Kuje for speaking against the government. Ib questioned why security resources were not directed towards areas affected by terrorism and banditry, emphasizing that the government appears to prioritize intimidation over the protection of vulnerable citizens.
