APC Group Backs Bichi for Kano Deputy Governor Position

The APC Legacy Group, represented by Barau Jibrin and Abdullahi Abba Mondai, has publicly endorsed Rabiu Suleiman Bichi for the vacant deputy governor position in Kano State. This endorsement was made during a stakeholders' meeting, where the group highlighted Bichi's capability to unite party members across Kano.

The statement, made available to newsmen in Abuja by Malam Indo Kwarin Albarka, emphasized that Bichi's nomination is a strategic move to strengthen the APC's cohesion ahead of future political engagements. Bichi is recognized for his extensive public service record, including roles as the Managing Director of the Urban Development Bank of Nigeria (UDBN) and the Hadejia Jama River Basin Development Authority (HJRBA).

The group expressed confidence that Bichi's experience and leadership skills would positively impact the APC's prospects in Kano. They also dismissed reports of internal dissent regarding the nomination, asserting that Bichi is the preferred choice among stakeholders.
