Barau Jibrin Submits APC Forms for Senate Return

Barau Jibrin, the Deputy President of the Senate, has officially submitted his nomination forms to the All Progressives Congress (APC) as he seeks to return to the Senate representing the Kano North Senatorial District. The forms were submitted at 1:45 PM on Thursday at the Treasure Suite Conference Hotel in Abuja.

In his statement, Jibrin expressed gratitude for the continued support from his constituents and pledged to remain focused on their welfare. He emphasized his commitment to addressing the challenges faced by the people and advancing programs aimed at improving their lives.

Jibrin reaffirmed that the welfare and development of the constituents across the 13 local government areas of Kano North remain his highest priority, reflecting his dedication to public service. His prominent role as a legislator in the North West geopolitical zone has been solidified since his inauguration as Deputy President of the Senate in June 2023.
