Barber Hafiz Shot Dead in Lagos Salon by Gunmen

On Tuesday, July 21, a barber identified as Hafiz was shot dead inside his barbing salon located at Church Gate along the Badagry Expressway in Lagos State. The incident occurred shortly after Hafiz had finished attending to a customer when three armed men entered the salon and opened fire on him.

A source, who requested anonymity, reported that Hafiz was shot twice in the head before the assailants fled the scene. He was rushed to the hospital but was confirmed dead on arrival.

An anti-cultism platform, Naija Confra, confirmed the incident, stating that the motive behind the killing is unknown and that residents have ruled out any known cult-related violence in the area. They noted that this was the first such incident in the peaceful neighborhood.

The spokesperson for the Lagos State Police Command, Abimbola Adebisi, could not be reached for comments regarding the incident.
