Bauchi Governor Redeploys Commissioners Amid Restructuring

The Governor of Bauchi State has approved the redeployment of cabinet members to new roles as part of a restructuring following the resignation of the Chief of Staff, Hassan Gamawa, along with six commissioners. This decision was communicated through a statement released by the governor's media aide, Mokhtar Gidado.

The governor has directed members of the State Executive Council to supervise their respective ministries until new officials are appointed. Hashimu Yakubu will take over the duties of the Chief of Staff, while Moham Lawal R.

Zayam will oversee the Ministry of Power and Science Technology. Hassan Usman El Yakub has been assigned to the Ministry of Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs.

Usman Usman Shehu will supervise the Ministry of Water Resources, and Danlami Ahm Kawul will oversee the Ministry of Rural Development. Amina Muhammad Katagum will manage the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs and Disaster Management, while Moham Sadiq Shira will supervise the Ministry of Finance and Economic Development.

The governor has urged the officials to work closely with the Permanent Secretary to ensure the smooth running of government activities across ministries and agencies.
