Bauchi State Launches 2025/2026 School Enrollment Campaign with UNICEF Support

Bauchi State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB) launched a 2025/2026 school enrollment campaign in collaboration with UBEC and UNICEF. The campaign aims to boost enrollment in basic education across Bauchi State.

The State Commissioner of Education, Muhammad Lawal Rimin Zayan, highlighted the goal to mobilize traditional rulers to actively participate in the drive. The campaign includes substantial infrastructure improvements to accommodate more students, with older structures being rehabilitated and upgraded, and new facilities being constructed.

The AGILE project also targets increasing girl school enrollment. The initiative received praise for enhancing basic education and aligning with global best practices, with UNICEF commended for its support.
