Yobe Police Arrest Teenager and Accomplices for Tricycle Theft and Robbery

The Yobe State Police Command has apprehended an 18-year-old suspect, Shettima Adamu, and five alleged accomplices for tricycle theft in Yobe State. The arrests were made after a series of burglary incidents involving stolen goods worth 530,000 naira.

Additionally, a 38-year-old man, Abdulrazaq Abdul Azeez, was arrested in connection with a robbery of a tricycle operator in Potiskum, Yobe State. The operator was rendered unconscious with a harmful substance.

The stolen tricycle was intercepted by the police at a checkpoint in Gaya, Kano State. Emmanuel Ado, the Commissioner of Police in Yobe State, emphasized the commitment to fighting crime and ensuring the safety of residents.
