The Bauchi State Police Command, represented by spokesperson SP Nafiu Habib, has issued a statement assuring the public of a peaceful Eid el-Fitr celebration. Mr. Sani Omolori, the Commissioner of Police in Bauchi, emphasized the deployment of a significant police presence throughout the state during the holiday period.

This includes intensified patrols and intelligence-led operations specifically targeting areas prone to violence, phone snatching, pickpocketing, and traffic offenses. The police have urged parents and guardians to monitor their wards to prevent reckless behavior in public spaces.
